Approved Subjects for Contemporary Advanced Level Jurisprudential Lessons

<ul><li>Considering that the elders and teachers of the Islamic seminaries have always had a scientific input in contemporary issues on the basis of the jurisprudential method of the Late author of (the book) Jawāhir and with the goal of familiarizing students with the Ijtihādi text of contemporary teachers of the seminary, 15 books in 8 subjects have been introduced for teaching.</li><li>These books are&nbsp;text oriented and are introduced&nbsp;here.</li><li>Teachers who have been authorized to teach the 9th and 10th level and advanced level can select these lessons and students of the aforementioned levels can select the lesson and their preferred teacher from the the Najāh portal.</li><li>The above lessons, in order to facilitate registration, have been&nbsp;defined as lessons of the ‘open’ level on the teachers portal and can be viewed and selected in that portal.</li></ul>&nbsp;<ul><li>Support package and benefits of introductory lessons of contemporary jurisprudence has been approved as follows:</li></ul>1. In the academic year 1401-1402 (2022-2023), students on the 9th and 10th level who have participated in one introductory lesson of contemporary jurisprudence and pass in the exams of the two semesters (of that academic year), a 1.5 score as an accolade will be added to their written exam score for the book ‘Makāsib’ and a 1.5 score as an accolade will be added to their oral exam score for the book ‘Makāsib’.Note: Accolade score for the written (exam) of ‘Makāsib’ at the discretion of the student, can be added to any of the score of their&nbsp;written ‘Makāsib’ (exam), with the condition that they obtain at least a score of 12 in that exam.&nbsp;2. In the academic year 1401-1402 (2022-2023), students of advanced level classes who have participated in the introductory contemporary &nbsp;jurisprudential classes and were successful in their exam for the two semesters, a score of 2 will be added to their interview for their advanced level class as an accolade.Note: At the discretion of the students, accolade score for their advanced level interview can be added to any of their advanced level interview scores with the condition they obtain a score of at least 12 in that interview.&nbsp;3. Teachers for introductory lessons of contemporary jurisprudence will be subject to all the privileges that teachers of higher levels have including length of teaching and remuneration.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;4. All distinctions of introductory lessons of contemporary jurisprudence is specific only to students who participate in one introductory lesson and obtain a score of at least 12 in the written exam.&nbsp;5. For each of the&nbsp;introductory lessons of contemporary jurisprudence, at least 60 lessons must be held in each semester even if these 60 lessons are held together, during holidays, such as in the month of Ramadhān.&nbsp;6. In order to participate in the second semester of the academic year of every lesson, the specified lesson program of the first semester should have been studied.<ul><li style="margin-left:80px;">Contemporary lessons 1-8 are not connected to each other and each teacher, based on their interest and capability, can teach one of these lessons. However any lesson that is selected, the specified lesson program for the first semester should be taught and thereafter the specified lesson program for the second semester. If in the event, the first semester was taught in the previous year, the second semester must be taught in the current year.</li><li style="margin-left:80px;">The approved books have been selected in the first step of this big project and in the event of being welcomed by the respected teachers and students, possibility of increasing these books in the coming years is present.&nbsp;</li></ul>

Elaboration on Introductory Lessons of Contemporary Jurisprudence (contemporary jurisprudence 1 to 8)

After the portal was made accessible, respected students have begun selecting courses of their interest.&nbsp;This excellent and maximum co-operation from the professors (ustad) and schools all around the country is from the blessing and&nbsp;beneficence from&nbsp;Allah and Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) and is praiseworthy.&nbsp;Transformation Ijtihād and it being contemporary is a historical tradition of the Islamic Seminaries from Shahīd Awwal till Shahīd Sadr and from ‘Allāma Ḥillī till Imām Khomeini and by the Grace of Allah, it is still continuing today.

To-date, only in the city of Qom, 67 lecturers have registered to teach the book ‘al-Shakhṣ al-I’tibārī’.

Registered Lecturers for the Introductory Lessons in Contemporary Jurisprudence for the Academic Year 2023 - 2024

In order to register these lessons, lecturers, after entering the portal to register lessons, in the lesson section, should click on the option of ‘open’ level and thereafter, select any of the lessons in the lesson selection section and the system will automatically display the specified lesson plan and record it. At the end, it is necessary to click on the ‘register’ button.&nbsp;Respected teachers who only taught the first semester in the previous year must select the same lesson for the second semester in the new academic year (however they can select additional first semester lessons) so that the respected students do not fall into difficulty in completing the book and obtaining its distinctions.&nbsp;To obtain a&nbsp;list of books and the final books for the specified lesson plan of introductory contemporary jurisprudence, click&nbsp;here.

Books for the Introductory Contemporary Jurisprudence Lessons for the academic year 1401-1402 (2022-2023) is Announced

Considering the presence of distinguished professors and elders in the city of Qom, in addition to benefitting from the discussions and scientific, sympathetic and constructive criticisms and appreciations for the new educational program, we witness the affectionate&nbsp;empathy and co-ordination of these respected people and this is the Islamic ethics, which has always been an original tradition of the Islamic seminaries and today as well it continues.&nbsp;Till September 2022, in the city of Qom alone, 152 teachers have registered to teach the book ‘Al-Fā’iq’.&nbsp;The book&nbsp;‘Al-Fā’iq’ includes discussions that students are required to study in their advanced level classes and which is not studied in-depth in their prevalent books. From amongst these subjects, we can mention ‘Seere Uqalā’ (Conduct of rational people); Ḥujjiyat Iṭlāqāt dar Mawḍū’āt Mustaḥaditha (authority of the generic proofs in new subjects), Tanqīḥ Manāṭ (isolation of the criterion), Ilgā ye Khusūsiyat, Tanāsub Ḥukm wa Mawḍū’ (compatibility of law and subject).&nbsp;The 8th edition of this book is available at present in the ‘Intishārāt Ḥawza’ bookshop at Madāne Ruḥullah. List of Registered Lecturers for ‘Al-Fā’iq fī al-Usūl’

According to the statistics presented from the first week of course selection, the courses of of Al-Shakhṣ Al-E’tibārī and Al-Fāiq have been widely welcomed by the esteemed students, which has been very surprising.Therefore, to avoid the problem of lack of classes, consultations are being held with specialized jurisprudence schools so that in these schools, independent students will also be allowed to participate in these two courses.Up until know the specialized jurisprudence schools of Imām Kāẓim, Ṣāḥib al – Amr and Dār al – ‘Ilm Imām Ḥasan (peace be upon him) have agreed on this issue.Thus, all the respected students must pay attention that while selecting the courses of Al-Fāiq and Al-Shakhṣ Al-E’tibārī, if the place where their desired professor is teaching is announced in one of the schools, they can choose the course and attend his class.This issue is still being followed up and this request has been submitted to other esteemed directors of specialized jurisprudence centres to cooperate in this important matter and allow independent students who apply for these two courses to attend their schools.

Surprisingly, the courses of of Al-Shakhṣ Al-E’tibārī and Al-Fāiq have been widely welcomed by the esteemed students.
