Yale to Host Book Launch on Islamic State Freedoms

The event will introduce and examine Public Freedoms in the Islamic State, authored by Rached Ghannouchi and translated by David Johnston, published by Yale University Press.

“Rached Ghannouchi is one of the most influential, compelling, and prominent thinkers and leaders of contemporary political Islam,” said Frank Griffel of Yale University.

It is worth noting that Yale University in New Haven, is widely regarded as one of the leading institutions of higher education in the United States.

The session will also feature remarks by Noah Feldman of Harvard University and Rashid Abou El Fadl of Stanford University.
