On the Occasion of Haj Qassem Martyrdom Anniv.; Martyr Soleimani to Scholars: Support for Velayat Faqih Correct Path

Late Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani recommends the seminary scholars to support the Islamic Republic and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei as the correct path to preserve Islam in the contemporary era.

Here is the content of the piece of his will narrated in the above video:

"Your soldier [I] observed from a watchtower that if this system is harmed, religion and all the values you have made sacrifices to preserve in its various domains will be lost. This era is unlike any other; if they [Daesh] gain dominance this time, nothing will remain of Islam. The correct path is unwavering support for the Islamic Revolution, Islamic Republic, and the Velayat Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurist). You, as the hope of Islam, must not let others' actions cause hesitation in your resolve. I see Ayatollah Khamenei as very oppressed and alone. He needs your companionship and assistance. You, esteemed scholars, must guide society through your words, meetings, and support for him. If this Revolution is harmed, it will not even resemble the era of the accursed Shah; instead, the efforts of imperialism will lead to pure atheism and an irreversible deep deviation."

Lieutenant General Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), and their companions were assassinated in a US drone strike authorized by then-US President Donald Trump near the Iraqi capital Baghdad’s International Airport on January 3, 2020.

Martyr Soleimani played a pivotal role in uprooting the US-backed Daesh terrorist group.
