The Fourth International Conference on Islamic and Muhammadiyah Studies (ICIMS 2024) has announced its call for papers, inviting scholars to explore contemporary approaches to Islamic studies in the digital age. The conference forms part of the broader International Summit on Science, Technology, and Humanity (ISETH) 2023, organized by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. It will be held in a hybrid format—both in-person and online—in Surakarta, Indonesia, on January 30–31, 2024.
The central theme of the conference examines contemporary approaches to Islamic studies in the digital era, aimed at realizing Risālat al-Islām al-Taqaddumī (the “progressive message of Islam”).
