In the 22nd Book Conference ceremony of the Islamic Seminary, which was held today in the conference hall of the Ma’sūmiya School in Qom, the book " Al-Fāiq fī Al-Usūl " which was written by the teachers of the department of contemporary jurisprudence of the Islamic Seminaries, was selected as the "Chosen Book" (which is the highest rank) in the subject of jurisprudence and Islamic Legal Theory.&nbsp;We would like to express our gratitude to all the professors and great scholars who made this book even better with their guidance.<figure class="image image_resized" style="width:74.14%;"><img src="https://fms.s3.ir-thr-at1.arvanstorage.com/jayzh_ktab_sal_hwzh_1180f9dd66_6ed2cb933c.jpg"></figure>

The book entitled “Al-Fāiq fī Al-Usūl” won the highest rank in "Islamic Seminary’s Book of the Year".

Achievement of the highest rank of the “Islamic Seminary’s Book of the Year” in the subject of Jurisprudence and Islamic Legal Theory

&nbsp;Martyr General Qassim Soleimani (1957-2020), known as “Haj Qassim”, was the former commander of the Quds Force and the axis of resistance against the Zionist Regime and America.He was the commander of the 41st army of Tharullah during the holy defense period and one of the commanders of Walfajr eight, Karbala four and Karbala five operations. In 2001, Qassim Soleimani was appointed as the commander of the Quds Force by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ayatollah Khamenei, and after the emergence of ISIS in Iraq and Syria, by being present in these areas and organizing popular forces, he fought against this group and played a special role in the destruction of ISIS regime in the occupied areas.Undoubtedly, he was one of the most important people involved in the security of the country of Iran, who, using the power of faith and martyrdom, followed the goals of the Islamic Republic system and the strategy of defending the oppressed and the cause of the Palestinian freedom in a global scope and with full authority. His mastery and cleverness in implementing military tactics and thwarting the enemy’s plans were such that he was nicknamed “Shadow General”.Finally, at the age of 63, General Soleimani was martyred in the morning of Friday, January 13, 2018 in Iraq in a terriost operation by the United States.

The member of the Guardian Council during his advanced kharij fiqh lessons in the grand mosque of Qom stated: “The way to prevent these issues from arising is that everyone - especially the ladies who maintain hijab and those who see Lady Fatimah al-Zahra and Zeinab al-Kubra (peace be upon them both) as their leaders - should announce that we want the hijab. This desire should be announced to the entire world.”&nbsp;Ayatollah Shab Zendeh Dar continued: “These rallies (in support of hijab) that we see in some places are effective and beneficial and should be supported. The public should help officials deal with this issue with greater determination, by making their demands heard"&nbsp;&nbsp;

Ayatollah Shab Zendeh Dar Stresses on the Importance of Hijab

The Islamic Seminary of Khuzestan and especially the city of Ahwaz has a lively, active and exciting environment. In this place we benefited a lot from the presence of the scholars and also had a meeting with the new director of the province, the respected Shaykh Bilādiyān. He was a virtuous person, very respectful and well - mannered, and had a knowledgeable and revolutionary personality.In addition, we had a meeting with Ayatollah Jazāirī, who has in – depth advanced jurisprudence lessons in Ahvaz. The picture related to his advanced jurisprudence lessons can be seen below.<figure class="image image_resized" style="width:62.99%;"><img src="https://fms.s3.ir-thr-at1.arvanstorage.com/khozestan1_22b85d89ee_5dffbe70d1.jpg"><figcaption>One of the Advanced Jurisprudence Lessons of Ayatollah Jazāirī</figcaption></figure>During our two day stay in Khuzestan, as can be seen in the picture below, he was slightly ill, but he warmly welcomed the department of contemporary jurisprudence and after I presented a complete report on the achievements of contemporary jurisprudence at his home, he became so happy that he straightaway accepted our proposal, and it was decided that during this year, in his main advanced jurisprudence lessons, he would devote one session a week in discussing a nominal entity.<figure class="image image_resized" style="width:63%;"><img src="https://fms.s3.ir-thr-at1.arvanstorage.com/khozestan3_b89572f71e_b8066d5f33.jpg"></figure><figure class="image image_resized" style="width:62.97%;"><img src="https://fms.s3.ir-thr-at1.arvanstorage.com/khozestan4_033f5a18ce_77867fae5b.jpg"><figcaption>Meeting Ayatollah Jazāirī</figcaption></figure>Another one of the blessings of this journey was meeting Ayatollah Muḥsin Ḥaydarī who is one of the teachers of advanced jurisprudence from Ahwaz. During the meeting that was held in his school as shown in the picture below with the professors and managers that work for him, the interesting thing to note was that he teaches the topic of guardianship of the jurist and had also published a book in Arabic regarding the Shia Islamic view on the type of government administration that was published in the Arab world, and more interestingly, the esteemed professors of his school were very seriously following the latest topics of contemporary jurisprudence.&nbsp;<figure class="image image_resized" style="width:62.42%;"><img src="https://fms.s3.ir-thr-at1.arvanstorage.com/khozestan2_8d8b3722ac_6ebe780ff4.jpg"><figcaption>Meeting Ayatollah Muḥsin Ḥaydarī who is one of the teachers of advanced jurisprudence from Ahwaz along with professors and managers that work for him.</figcaption></figure>He said that after his current discussion of advanced jurisprudence, which is about partnership (Musharikah) and lands (which is a problem in that region), he will start teaching another one of the discussions of contemporary jurisprudence.P.S. Something that you may not know is that a work - related trip with the current 63-year-old director of the Islamic Seminary means work and lots of work without a moment to breathe... You may not believe it, but the only free time I had was when I went to bring something as a souvenir for my little children when I was returning to the airport, that too because the plane was delayed for a few minutes, and if the esteemed director of the Islamic Seminary had known about this delay, he would have ordered a meeting and resolved the issue on the spot.&nbsp;Any role that can be played by reasonExcept the role of&nbsp; Beloved who is unhappy...&nbsp;

Last week we had a brief meeting with the esteemed director and officials of the Islamic Seminary. To be fair, even though various meetings were held continuously from sunrise to midnight, the results of these meetings were so attractive and promising that they also relieved the earlier fatigue.

Report of the Journey to Khuzestan as narrated by the Director of the Department of Contemporary Jurisprudence

In this series of questions and answers, the goals and features of the new format of advanced level lessons was clearly elaborated upon and it is hoped that such a practice is kept constant. The following two links contain the questions and answers propound upon and a detailed explanation of the new learning format has been presented:&nbsp;<a href="https://hawzahnews.com/xbQRM">https://hawzahnews.com/xbQRM</a><a href="https://hawzahnews.com/xbQPP">https://hawzahnews.com/xbQPP</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;There are two noteworthy points in the above material which indicate to the original subject matter which have been decided upon after a few years of gathering opinions of teachers:&nbsp;&nbsp;1) The general level of students, while observing traditional learning methods (such as discussions and lesson writing), cannot study 4 lessons a day and increasing the study years is not possible&nbsp;&nbsp;2) Majority of the general lessons of the seminary do not study the final sections where as necessarily the final sections do not have a lesser priority in comparison to all other sections and the teachers are looking for a solution to teach those sections. Having said that, the instances that are currently being considered are as follows&nbsp;&nbsp;Firstly: Every teacher, who in accordance to previous formats, is able to study the complete study program with their best students should continue the same format and after completing the term program should hold exams (the number of exam times will be increased). However, as for teachers who in the past were unable to complete the term program, instead of eliminating the final sections, in accordance to the importance and appropriate distribution, should dedicate some lessons as self study.&nbsp;&nbsp;The recommended term study program can be modified after receiving general feedback from the teachers. Thus, the previous education system is preserved for interested teachers and students and as for the rest, it has been endeavoured that a more rational planning is considered.

With effort from the seminary news agency and respected deputy head of education of the religious Seminaries, Hujjat ul Islam wal Muslimeen Rustam Nijād responded to questions brought forth by teachers and students regarding the new format for advanced level lessons of the Islamic seminary.
