According to ISNA, the educational platform—developed under the supervision of Seyed Hossein Hosseini-Noorzad, a faculty member at the College of Fine Arts, University of Tehran, and supported by the strategic “Hatef” program (a joint initiative of the University of Tehran and the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy)—represents an innovative step toward bridging artificial intelligence with educational and human sciences. Having been awarded the UNESCO National Prize in E-Learning, this knowledge-based solution not only provides a novel paradigm for personalized elementary education, but also underscores the transformative potential of artificial intelligence across diverse academic fields, ranging from educational psychology and game design to learning analytics and the knowledge economy. The platform transforms routine practice, revision, and academic consolidation into an engaging, interactive, and meaningful experience. Curricular concepts are seamlessly integrated with gamification mechanics, AI algorithms, learning data analytics, and core life skills, empowering students to hone critical thinking, problem-solving, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and fundamental life competencies alongside their standard academic coursework.In the architecture and conceptual design of the platform, gameplay is not treated as a mere peripheral tool to generate surface-level appeal; rather, the game world itself constitutes an integral part of the learning process. Consequently, the platform’s environment is fully grounded in Iranian language, culture, and social context. Course and game titles, character design, virtual environments, storylines, proverbs, and local cultural references have been harmoniously curated alongside visual aesthetics to present children with a unified, familiar, and meaningful world that situates their learning within an authentic cultural context.The core premise behind the platform stems from a fundamental challenge in primary education: how to transform the learning consolidation phase—which inherently requires continuous practice and repetition—from a tedious chore into an intrinsically motivating, sustained journey for the child. The platform addresses this pedagogical challenge through the intelligent convergence of gameplay, learning science, and modern technology.From the student’s viewpoint, the platform delivers a structured series of progressive, interactive games equipped with real-time feedback and scoring mechanisms calibrated to each child’s age, baseline ability, and personal learning pace. For parents, it provides a transparent window into their child’s educational trajectory; comprehensive analytical dashboards track performance across distinct academic subjects, enabling parents and educators to monitor learning rhythms and deliver content tailored to the unique needs of each learner.According to user experience evaluations conducted during Nowruz 1405 (Spring 2026):

79% of students rated the games as well-suited to their academic grade level and age;

83% expressed a strong desire to continue using the platform in the future;

72% of parents affirmed that the platform significantly helped them identify their children’s strengths and areas for improvement;

83% of teachers regarded the platform’s analytical reports as an effective tool for gaining deeper insights into their students’ academic standing.

To date, the system has served more than 20,000 users nationwide. In addition to securing the UNESCO National Prize in E-Learning, it has achieved official certification as a knowledge-based product in the domain of computing applications within the humanities.According to the University of Tehran, the showcase of the “Bubamzi” educational platform within the Hatef initiative—alongside other premier AI projects—has provided a vital venue for presenting its achievements and advancing discussions surrounding platform scaling, commercialization, and investment acquisition.

Chinese researchers have developed an innovative artificial intelligence model that functions as a virtual cell, leveraging protein dynamics to accurately forecast personalized therapeutic strategies for breast cancer.According to ISNA, cancer cells exhibit significant heterogeneity, leading to markedly different responses to therapeutic agents. Consequently, identifying the optimal drug tailored to a specific cancer cell type remains one of the most prolonged and challenging hurdles in pharmaceutical development and the design of effective treatment regimens.As reported by Medical Xpress, the newly introduced AI model, designated “ProteinTalks,” streamlines this process by precisely predicting drug efficacy on malignant cells, uncovering novel therapeutic combinations, and pinpointing specific proteins associated with drug resistance.Researchers at Westlake University investigated the cellular responses of breast cancer to established, approved anti-cancer agents. The resulting experimental datasets empowered ProteinTalks to delineate the dynamic alterations in protein levels in correlation with drug efficacy.The study demonstrated that ProteinTalks significantly outperformed gene-activity-based AI models as well as conventional machine learning algorithms in predicting cellular drug responses. Remarkably, the model demonstrated high accuracy in forecasting cellular responses to anti-cancer compounds that were entirely absent from its initial training phase. Furthermore, it successfully identified drug combinations exhibiting potent synergistic effects against breast cancer, surpassing the therapeutic efficacy of individual single-agent regimens.Prior to undertaking cost-prohibitive laboratory assays, scientists testing novel oncological therapies must simulate cellular drug responses using computational platforms. Virtual cells offer a transformative solution to this bottleneck, provided researchers can accurately reconstruct the intricate, non-linear biological transformations occurring intracellularly over time.While foundational AI models trained on massive biological datasets—encompassing DNA, RNA, proteins, and metabolites—hold immense promise for creating AI-driven virtual cells, the majority still capture cellular behavior as a static, momentary snapshot rather than a time-resolved, dynamic continuum.ProteinTalks was systematically trained on dynamic protein trajectory pathways alongside pharmacological profiles, enabling it to decode temporal cellular responses to therapy. The researchers established that ProteinTalks operates as an interpretable AI virtual cell capable of faithfully simulating the dynamic responses of cancer cells to individual anti-cancer compounds across time. Despite being trained primarily on breast cancer data, the model successfully predicted drug responses in lung, colorectal, pancreatic, and melanoma cancer cells. By monitoring protein variations over time, it also unraveled the key biological drivers underpinning acquired drug resistance.Furthermore, by screening repurposed pharmaceuticals directly against patient-derived organoids—miniaturized 3D tumor models that mirror patient-specific malignancies—ProteinTalks identified customized therapeutic options capable of eradicating tumor cells at substantially lower dosages than those required by standard chemotherapy. The investigators also compiled a novel catalog of promising synergistic drug combinations designed to target cancer collaboratively.Given that an oncological drug effective for one patient may fail in another, cancer management has long grappled with unpredictability. This novel protein-centric model, guided by dynamic cellular fluctuations over time, marks a pivotal milestone toward interpretable AI virtual cells. Such systems can identify high-potential drug candidates ahead of costly laboratory validation and steer precision medicine strictly aligned with the unique proteomic signature of a patient’s tumor.This study was published in the prestigious journal Nature. source

Tehran - BORNA - The conference, held at the Tehran Summit Hall, has brought together participants from around 40 countries, including Iraq, Pakistan, Turkey, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Persian Gulf states, as well as foreign ambassadors based in Tehran and representatives of senior religious authorities. The gathering is being held under the theme “Islamic Unity in the Thought of the Martyred Imam, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei,” with discussions focusing on strengthening solidarity among Muslim countries and developing practical approaches to greater cooperation across the Islamic world. Addressing the opening ceremony, Hamid Shahriari, secretary-general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, said developments over the past year had underlined the need for greater unity among Muslim countries. Referring to the recent war against Iran, Shahriari described the conflict as more than a military confrontation, arguing that it represented a broader “civilizational confrontation” with Western hegemony and unilateralism. He said the United States opposed the emergence of a strong Iran because Tehran’s growing scientific, military, economic and technological capabilities could provide a model for other Muslim and developing countries. Shahriari also referred to the attack on the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, criticizing what he described as the silence of Western media over the deaths of students and teachers. He said US policies of maximum pressure had failed to achieve their objectives over the past four decades, pointing to Iran’s advances in missile and drone technology and the performance of its Armed Forces during the recent conflict. The Iranian official further argued that regional countries had increasingly concluded that foreign military presence does not provide sustainable security. “Security can only be ensured by the countries of the region themselves,” Shahriari said, adding that expanding regional engagement had helped strengthen solidarity and promote the discourse of Islamic unity over sectarian division. He also said statements and initiatives emerging from countries including Iran, Saudi Arabia and Turkey contained significant areas of common ground that should be preserved and developed. According to the conference organizers, this year’s event is being held in a decentralized format for the first time. Four specialized sessions are scheduled to take place in the Iranian provinces of West Azarbaijan, Kurdistan, Golestan and Khorasan Razavi, with discussions focusing on different aspects of Islamic unity. Additional programs include academic meetings with senior seminary scholars in Qom and Mashhad, the unveiling of eight new books on rapprochement among Islamic schools of thought, and two specialized panels on “the study of Takfiri movements” and “the role of unity in the new Islamic civilization.” The conference is intended to strengthen cooperation among Muslim scholars and intellectuals, expand networks among elites across the Islamic world and explore practical mechanisms for greater unity among Muslim countries.
