In the fourth century of Hijri - which was the same time as the Shia governments, including: Al-Buyeh, Fatimids and Hamdanians, and the same period as the Sunni caliphate under the Abbasid government - we witness extensive direct or indirect positive activities of Shia women in the expansion of Islamic sciences. 1
